Terms of use and sale

Purpose

These terms govern the use of Elaris TCG, an online anime trading card game, as well as the sale of the digital content (crystals, subscription) offered within it. By creating an account, you accept the rules below.

Access to the game

Elaris TCG is free to access for anyone who creates an account. The base game is suitable from age 13. However, PURCHASES (crystals, subscription) and paid pack openings are reserved for people aged 16 or over; a minor may only make a purchase with the prior authorisation of their legal guardian, who alone is entitled to commit the payment.

Each player is responsible for keeping their password confidential and for actions taken from their account.

Crystals and purchases

Crystals are the game's virtual currency: they are earned for free by playing (missions, achievements, world firsts, market sales) and can also be bought with real money via Stripe, our payment provider. Prices are shown in euros; VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (basic exemption).

Crystals:

• have no real monetary value and can never be converted back into real money or withdrawn — there is no cash-out in euros;
• can only be used inside the game (packs, shop, referral code);
• are tied to the account and cannot be transferred between players for real money.

Payments are processed by Stripe; Elaris TCG stores no banking data.

Right of withdrawal

Crystals are digital content supplied immediately after purchase. In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, by confirming your purchase you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as the crystals are credited to your account. Consequently, a crystal purchase that has already been delivered is non-refundable.

For the ad-free subscription, you have a 14-day withdrawal period from sign-up. If you request the service to start immediately, this right applies pro rata to the time already used up to your withdrawal request.

Ad-free subscription

The ad-free subscription is a paid monthly subscription that removes the ad banners from the game. It is billed automatically each month via Stripe and renews by tacit renewal until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, with no refund of the current month. There is no minimum commitment.

Random packs

Packs contain cards drawn at random. The probability of obtaining each rarity is published transparently on the drop rates page. Cards obtained have only an in-game virtual value and can never be converted into real money: this mechanic therefore does not constitute gambling under French law.

Conduct rules

The following are prohibited: cheating or exploiting bugs to gain an unfair advantage, impersonation, harassment or abusive language towards other players (notably via messaging or trades), and any attempt to bypass the site's security measures.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. If the conduct rules above are not respected, account access may be suspended or removed. Purchases already made are not refunded as a result of a suspension linked to a breach of these terms.

Availability and liability

Elaris TCG is provided "as is". Continuous availability, a complete absence of bugs, or permanent data retention cannot be guaranteed. The service may evolve, be temporarily interrupted, or be shut down, with no compensation other than that provided for by law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to follow the evolution of the game; the version in force is always the one published on this page.

Consumer mediation

In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute unresolved after a written complaint to our customer service (support@elaris.fun), any consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The competent mediator's contact details are available on request and will be added here. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
