How to play Elaris
Elaris is a collectible card game built on anime characters. You open packs, collect characters, fuse your duplicates to make them rarer, and trade the rest with other players. Everything is playable for free, with no time limit. Here are the rules on one page.
Your first minutes
When you create your account you start with 100 crystals and a full stock of packs. Crystals are the main currency: they buy packs, pay on the market, and unlock skills.
If another player gave you their referral code, enter it when you sign up: you get 1,000 extra crystals once your email address is verified. Verification is required to reach the game — it stops throwaway accounts from being created to farm rewards in bulk.
Opening packs
A pack holds 7 cards. You earn one back every 40 minutes, automatically, even while offline. They stack up to 12 packs: past that the counter stops rising — come back before you hit the cap so nothing goes to waste.
Each of the 7 cards is drawn independently. No slot has a reserved rarity: a pack may hold several high-tier cards, or none at all. It is pure chance, never a structural guarantee.
Once a day, the daily pack also grants a fusion coin. It is the only source of that currency, and it gates all star progression — remember to claim it.
The six rarities
Every character holds a unique position in a global popularity ranking. That rank, and nothing else, sets its rarity: the best known characters are the rarest. No threshold is set by hand.
The ranking is split into six tiers, from rarest to most common. The value shown is for a card with no stars.
| Tier | Share of the ranking | Base value |
|---|---|---|
| Mythic | 0,5 % | 1,000 ◇ |
| Legendary | 2 % | 400 ◇ |
| Epic | 7,5 % | 150 ◇ |
| Rare | 15 % | 60 ◇ |
| Uncommon | 30 % | 25 ◇ |
| Common | 45 % | 10 ◇ |
The ranking is recomputed every season. A character gaining popularity can therefore change tier — your collection moves with what is happening in anime.
What a card is worth
Three things, in this order: its rarity tier, its star level, and whether it is the first copy ever drawn worldwide.
Stars multiply the base value: one star is worth 3 times the value, two stars 6 times, three stars 15 times. A three-star Mythic therefore reaches 15,000 crystals — the most expensive card in the game.
If you are the very first player in the world to draw a given character, you receive a bonus of 10 % of its value, and your name stays attached to its page permanently. It is the only distinction in the game that cannot be bought or traded.
Duplicates, fusion and stars
Drawing the same character twice is not a waste. Gather 3 identical copies and you can fuse them into a single card one star level higher, up to 3 stars. Fusing also pays a bonus of 5 % of the resulting value.
Each fusion also costs fusion coins: 1 for the first star, 2 for the second, 3 for the third. Since the coin only comes from the daily pack, taking a card to three stars takes time, not just luck.
That currency exists for one precise reason: without it, two players could pass the same card back and forth and manufacture duplicates endlessly. It caps the pace without ever blocking anyone mid-action.
It all happens on the Duplicates page, which gathers every fusable card in one place.
Passive income
Your starred cards produce crystals continuously, even when you are not playing: 0,4 % of their effective value per hour. A card with no stars produces nothing — that is the reward for fusing.
Production accumulates in a reserve capped at 3,000 crystals, which you have to come and collect. Once full it stops rising: the game rewards regularity, not long absences.
Fusing never lowers your output. The passive multiplier tracks the cost of fusion, so three cards merged into one produce at least as much as before.
The market
The market has two halves. Offers: you list a card at a price you set, and anyone can buy it. Requests: you announce the card you are after, and the players who own it come to you with their price.
You can hold 5 active listings at a time, between 1 and 1,000,000 crystals. A 5 % fee is taken on every sale — that is what keeps the total crystals in circulation from inflating indefinitely.
For a direct card-for-card swap with no crystals involved, use trades between friends instead.
Progressing over time
4 missions are offered each day and reset at midnight. They are the steadiest income in the game for a player who spends nothing.
The skill tree spends your crystals on permanent upgrades: extra daily packs, a larger passive reserve, more market listings, fusions that cost fewer duplicates.
The leaderboard compares every player's collection. Combat pits your cards against other players'. Referrals reward both sides once a new player verifies their address.
